I was extremely delighted when I received an invite mail for the Pre-Launch Event of Honda Jazz on 4th July, 2015. When I looked at the venue details, my joy was doubled since the event had to happen at F1 track of Buddh International Circuit. It was also a proud moment since I was amazed at the trust shown by Honda upon us bloggers as influencers to be part of this Pre-Launch event of Honda Jazz. A perfect Hangout with Honda.
Hangout with Honda Synopsis
Almost top 100 bloggers were invited from all across the country. We had to reach at Radisson Blu (Greater Noida) first. What a delight meeting all fellow bloggers. After registration formalities, chit-chats with bloggers, and sumptuous lunch, we were taken to Buddh International Circuit. Lot of surprises was waiting for us over there viz. an awesome host VJ Yudhishtir, presentation, games, quiz, rewards, band performance clubbed with snacks, drinks, dinner etc. We all got to drive the All New Jazz at F1 track. A day very well spent. What an amazing experience – truly a Dream Ride in Jazz at F1 during Hangout with Honda. Congratulations to Honda team for putting up such a great event which was so very well co-ordinated and organized. You took care of our to & fro travel, food, stay for outstation bloggers at Radisson etc. Thank you for making us feel so important.
My Aha Moments during ‘Hangout with Honda’
Registration: Registering for such a grand event of Pre-launch of Honda Jazz i.e. Hangout with Honda itself gave lot of high. When I started blogging 15 months back, I never saw the opportunities coming my way through my blog writing. I am absolutely in love with blogging.

And Yudhi, you were just awesome. You captured the audience’ attention with your great sense of humour, simplicity, humility. You instantly connected with all of us. Love you Yudhi for being such a great host and giving all of us wonderful memories of Hangout with Honda. Just check out the photos – am I not glowing!!!
Presentations about The All New Jazz: It was great to meet a few of the top authorities from Honda team to understand their journey to come up with the All New Jazz. Mr. Katsushi Inoue (CEO, Honda Cars India Limited), Mr. Jnaneswar Sen (Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Honda Cars India Limited), Ms. Anita Sharma (AVP – Marketing, Honda Cars India Limited), Mr. Shakeel Anjum (DGM Marketing Communications, Honda Cars India Limited), Ms. Saba Khan, Ms. Navneet Kaur (Strategy and Product Plan, Honda Cars India Limited) were the few ones to grace the occasion with their sheer presence. Mr. Katsushi Inoue spoke about the All New Honda Jazz that it is for the younger generation who wants ‘Everything’. Ms, Navneet Kaur presented the technical details as well as features of Jazz. Details about the vehicle is given in the later part of this document under the head “The Jazz‘y’ World”. Holding on to the information till then. Yes, hold your breath to read the details. Safety Instructions at the Control Room: This was a fabulous experience understanding the safety instructions to drive at F1. The kind of infrastructure maintained to monitor the F1 track, response time in case of accidents are all just superb.
The Dream Ride at F1 track: When I look back, these moments appear to be so surreal. Ah! I was excited as well as nervous to drive in F1. Wearing the safety helmet and just standing there in front of the stadium gave me goosebumps. I just could not believe that I was standing at Buddh International Circuit – the famous F1 track.
I got the Car No. 6 and I was the second from the Lead Car. Mr. Lalit from Buddh International Circuit team accompanied me during my drive. There were 4 more vehicles following me. And when we all completed our drive, rest of my friends were looking for who was driving Car No. 6… since maximum number of call outs were done for me, either to slow down or to keep pace with the vehicle in front. Indeed I was conscious of driving and it was fun driving. Enjoyed every bit of my dream ride.

The Jazz‘y’ World
What stayed with me after Mr. Kasushi and Ms. Navneet’s Presentation: What caught my attention is the advertisement of Honda Jazz: “Why settle for more, when you can get everything”. Indeed Honda Jazz offers everything. At the end of this post, I am sure, all of you would resonate with what I said.
How Jazz offers Everything? : Are you the one, who never settles for less, rather u don’t even settle for more, want everything? Honda Jazz is the right choice. It is definitely going to set a new benchmark in premium hatchback segment.
Feel young at Heart: Jazz’s exterior has been designed with a great sporty look. Utility wise also, many factors are taken into consideration. It has sporty sleek head lamps, front grille with premium black gloss and chrome finish, LED high mount stop lamp, premium LED rear tail lamps, Chrome rear license garnish, Alloy wheels, Electric adjustable & foldable outside mirror with turn indicators, Rear parking camera with multi view display and guidelines, Rear micro antenna.

Travel in your Comfortable style: Interiors has been designed keeping the comfort level of customers in mind. Magic seats allow various seating modes as per the requirement by just flipping and unflipping between different settings. Interestingly, four modes are there: Tall Mode, Utility Mode, Refresh Mode, Long Mode. Honda describes it as ‘Highly Functional and Versatile Interior’. Literally, it lets us fit in almost everything, be it cycle, groceries, plants etc. The recline feature allows one to use the front seat as a calf support for the rear seat passenger when the front seat is fully laid back and the headrest is removed. This is certainly going to be a feature and one of the unique proposition of Jazz. ‘Man Maximum Machine Minimum’ absolutely fits Jazz.

Enjoy Picnics: Magic seats when clubbed with very good Cargo Space makes the vehicle very much suitable for picnics, family tours. Cargo has 354 L capacity. Wow, isn’t it too good. Yes, 354 L capacity makes the cargo more spacious and more convenient luggage room.

Best in Segment Technology: Indeed, Best in Segment fuel efficient diesel engine (i-DTEC) and fuel efficient petrol automatic (i-VTEC CVT) are used. The advantages are shown as below in the pictures. The engine performance and fuel efficiencies is worth mentioning. 6 speed MT gearbox in i-DTEC is unique. The paddle shifter in 1.2 liter i-VTEC is brilliant. Excellent acceleration is there.

Flaunt the Colour of your Choice: The All New Jazz is getting launched in seven colours viz. Sunset Orange, Carnelian Red Pearl, Urban Titanium Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Tafelta White, Golden Brown Metallic and White Orchid Pearl. My all time favourite is definitely Carnelian Red Pearl. What is yours?
Drive Safe: The All New Jazz comes with an array of safety features, like SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, impact mitigating headrest and immobilizer anti-theft system, to name a few. In case of unfortunate collision, ACETM body structure and pedestrian injury mitigation technology minimize injuries. So, please feel secure and drive Honda Jazz.
